Worlds of Fun, is a 235-acre (95 ha) theme park located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. Owned and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation , it was founded by American businessmen Lamar Hunt and Jack Steadman under the ownership of Hunt's company, MId-America Enterprises in 1973.

On the surface of the north edge of the complex, Hunt developed the Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun amusement park complex. His extensive business dealings in Clay County contributed to the Chiefs establishing a training camp site as Liberty's William Jewell College from the franchise's relocation from Dallas in 1963, until 1991.
Oceans of Fun is a tropically themed water park that opened on May 31, 1982, in Kansas City, Missouri, to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the adjacent Worlds of Fun amusement park. When it opened, it was the largest water park in the state of Missouri. It is owned and operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
On September 11, 1997, Worlds of Fun announced that Mamba would be added to the park. [2] The ride would be a hypercoaster by D.H. Morgan Manufacturing. It would be the tallest ride in the park at 205 feet (62 m). The coaster would be located in the Africa section of the park. [2] Mamba officially opened on April 18, 1998. [3]

Timber Wolf is one of three wooden roller coasters at Worlds of Fun and Worlds of Fun's first wooden roller coaster. The coaster's highest point is 100 feet (30 m) and its largest drop is 95 feet (29 m), at which point it reaches speeds of 45 miles per hour (72 km/h) and incurs g-forces of 2.8.
Orient Express was a steel roller coaster located at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri. Introduced in 1980, the ride was manufactured by Arrow Huss and designed by Ron Toomer. It was replaced in 2004 by Spinning Dragons, a Gerstlauer spinning roller coaster. The red-orange track was located between the two entrances of the park.
