TCA College began as a vision conceived by Rev Dr Naomi Dowdy, former Senior Pastor of Trinity Christian Centre and Chancellor of the College, for the purpose of providing ministerial training with the Bachelor of Theology program and other degree programs so as to advance the Gospel message and to amply prepare leaders for service to churches and the Christian community.
Trinity Christian Centre (Trinity @ Paya Lebar) is an Assembly of God church located at 247 Paya Lebar Road. The church conducts several multi-lingual services on Sundays. All involve lay participation. Saint Andrew's Cathedral is the principal church of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore.
It was later renamed the Paya Lebar Fire Station. [2] In 1951, a prayer room was installed in the station, allowing on-duty Muslim firefighters to be able to perform prayers while at the station. Stadium MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle Line (CCL). Located in the area of Kallang, Central Region, Singapore, the station serves the Singapore Sports Hub and its facilities including the National Stadium, Indoor Stadium, Kallang Theatre and Leisure Park Kallang.
Upper Paya Lebar Road was realigned from Kim Chuan Road to Jalan Bunga Rampai on 14 April 2003 for the construction of the station. The station was completed in November 2007. [citation needed] Before the station was built, it was tentatively named Upper Paya Lebar. It was renamed to Tai Seng to reflect the location of the area.
The 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) MCE connects with the southern end of the Kallang–Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and its junction with the East Coast Parkway (ECP) to the eastern end of the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).
