Glen Cove Hospital is a hospital in Glen Cove, New York, United States, that is part of the Northwell Health system. It was founded in 1921 and moved to its current location in 1927. From 1927 to 1955, it was known as North Country Community Hospital, and at other times it had various names referencing Glen Cove.
The hospital was completed on the south end of Kokomo on December 3, 1961, at a cost of $2.5 million. The hospital joined Community Health Network in 2012. In 2013 hospital officials announced a $23.1 million expansion of facilities including two urgent care centers, a spinal center, a third heart catheterization lab, and a new Intensive Care Unit.
The construction also added the center's north wing, adding 50 medical-surgical beds in addition to the renovation of all support services. Bayshore Medical Center's bed complement increased to 218. In 1988, an Bayshore Medical Health Care Center opened with 120 skilled care beds. Later, a second floor was added with 60 residential beds.
