The Rapha Foundation was created in 2019 by Rapha co-founder Simon Mottram and shareholders Tom and Steuart Walton to fund various non-profit cycling organizations, and to introduce cycling to a wider audience. It provides $1.5 million a year in funding, and supports non-profits in the UK, United States, Germany, Australia and Japan.

Scheybeler co-founded Rapha in March 2004 with Simon Mottram. Scheybeler established Rapha's brand identity, style and product range, leading all creative output for the first 6 years and establishing the brands creative architecture, including Rapha's distinctive left arm stripe.

[6] Subsequently, it was announced that the team would be known as JLT–Condor, presented by Mavic for the 2015 season. [7] The team is now run by Condor, and Rapha passed their ownership to Condor.
