Hale Centre Theatre is a theater company based in Sandy, Utah. The theater has two stages: the Sorensen Legacy Jewel Box Stage with a capacity of 467 people, and the Young Living Center Stage with a capacity of 911.
Hale was born in Granger, Utah (now West Valley City), adopted by Will Hudson a farmer. Ruth was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband, James Nathan Hale, moved to California to seek out opportunities in Hollywood. With little success finding film roles, they founded the Glendale Centre Theater.
In 2015, the show was performed for the first time in the UK at the Hampton Hill Theatre in London by the Hounslow Light Opera company, directed by Bill Compton, musical directed by James Hall and lighting design by Nigel A. Lewis. [8] The musical was presented at the Hale Centre Theatre in West Valley City, Utah in 2016. [9] [10]
