The Lone Star Conference (LSC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Member institutions are located in the South Central states, with schools in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, with two members in the Pacific Northwest states of Oregon and Washington competing as affiliates for football only.
Notes: Due to COVID-19, the Lone South Conference suspended the fall 2020 football season. The conference also announced no in-conference competition for spring 2021 play. Schools scheduled own games if desired to play either in the fall or spring.
Sul Ross State left the LSC after the 1975–76 season and did not return until 2024–25. Arkansas–Fort Smith, East Central (OK), Harding, Incarnate Word, and Ouachita Baptist never qualified for the tournament finals as Lone Star Conference members.
