The Froissy Dompierre Light Railway (French: Chemin de fer Froissy-Dompierre, CFCD) is a 600 mm (1 ft 11 + 5 ⁄ 8 in) narrow gauge light railway running from Froissy (a hamlet of La Neuville-lès-Bray) to Dompierre-Becquincourt, through Cappy, in the Somme department, France.
In 1892, the Société Decauville took a 15-year concession to build and operate a light railway linking Pithiviers and the surrounding villages to Toury. [2] There were sugar refineries at Pithiviers and Toury, and the line connected these. The route of the railway generally followed local roads. The line opened on 25 July 1892. [3]
Froissy is the western terminus of the Froissy Dompierre Light Railway (also named P'tit Train de la Haute Somme), a heritage and touristic narrow gauge railway. In Froissy station is located a museum, the Musée des chemins de fer Militaires et Industriels [1] (Military and Industrial railways Museum).
