You can set the color of an individual link or set of links on a page (rather than a global change to the style of all links on Wikipedia) as follows. Setting styles in this way will apply to everyone who views those particular links or that particular page, not just you. However, links intended for readers should never be manually colored.

Specifying a size does not just change the apparent image size using HTML; it actually generates a resized version of the image on the fly and links to it appropriately. This happens whether or not you specify the size in conjunction with "thumb". This means the server does all the work of changing the image size, not the web browser of the user.
Here's the |reason= parameter again for your convenience: this section only discusses change the color blue. It says nothing about red links, purple links or any other type of link. Please expand the section with the appropriate instructions or at the very least explain to the reader what link colors that can't be changed for everybody.
