Uswatta Liyanage Ivor Sylvester Sunil Perera (Sinhala: සුනිල් පෙරේරා; 14 September 1952 – 6 September 2021) was a Sri Lankan vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and composer. [2] Described as one of the most influential musicians in Sri Lankan music history, [3] Perera was the leader and the lead vocalist of The Gypsies.
The Gypsies are a Sri Lankan baila band that performs Sinhala and English songs. [1] The band was founded in the early 1970s and has since garnered a huge fan base across Sri Lanka and is one of Sri Lanka's most famous bands. [2] They are a highly paid band in Sri Lanka, as they constantly perform at parties, dances and at many concerts.
They are currently conduct music classes at "Sarisara Music Academy" by providing guidance for musical examinations in Sri Lanka and India, including GCE O/L, A/L, Bathkande exams and grades 6 to 9 local music syllabus for students. NEWS (acronym for "North East West South") [1] is a Japanese boy band consisting of Keiichiro Koyama, Takahisa Masuda and Shigeaki Kato.Formed in 2003 by Johnny Kitagawa as a nine-member group under the label Johnny's Entertainment, NEWS released a promotional single "NEWS Nippon" (News ニッポン, News Japan), which was used for the World Cup of Volleyball Championships.

Nalin Perera (born 15 October 1969) is a Sri Lankan singer, songwriter, and composer. A popular musician, he founded the band Marians in 1988 which has become one of popular bands in Sri Lanka. Mahabaduge Nalin Anjelo Perera was born on 15 October 1969 in Chilaw to Christopher Perera and Miriam Perera, he was the eldest of five siblings.
