Cleveland Community College is a public community college located in Shelby, Cleveland County, North Carolina.It was established in 1965 [1] as the Cleveland County Industrial and Adult Education Center with its first classes consisting of a Licensed Practical Nurse program, two extension classes, and adult basic education classes for adults who had not completed high school.
As of the 2014–15 school year, the curriculum enrollment was 10,070 and continuing education enrollment was 14,053 students. [3] As of 2019–20, the college is the seventh largest in the North Carolina system and the largest in Western North Carolina. [2] A-B Tech offers more than 120 degrees, diplomas, and certificates.
