Table Top Wilderness is a protected wilderness area centered around its namesake Table Top Mountain, a summit of 4,373 feet (1332 m) in the Table Top Mountains in the U.S. state of Arizona. Established in 1990 under the Arizona Desert Wilderness Act the area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management .
Table Mountain is set in Yellowstone National Park and ranks as the third-highest peak in the park. [2] The mountain is located eight miles (13 km) southeast of Yellowstone Lake, and 2.18 miles (3.51 km) southwest of Eagle Peak which is the nearest higher peak, [5] as well as the park's highest point.

The area is underlain by the C aquifer and Redwall-Muav aquifer. The C aquifer is a water-table aquifer, with a depth of up to 1500 feet to the water table and is dry in the west, except for perched water-bearing zones. It is underlain by the Redwall-Muav, confined and up to 3200 feet below the land surface.
