Manuel "Manny" Bamba Villar Jr. (Tagalog pronunciation:; born December 13, 1949) is a Filipino businessman and former politician.He previously served as senator from 2001 to 2013 and as the 20th President of the Senate of the Philippines from 2006 to 2008.
Manuel Villar Olivera was born in the city of Lima, then capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru. He was the son of Pascual Villar, artillery colonel in the Royal Army of Peru, and Agustina Olivera.
