The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (Malay: Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur), also known as the KL Convention Centre, is a purpose-built convention and exhibition centre located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It launched by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on 11 February 2003. [1]
Comic Fiesta is usually held in December at various locations, including Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre at KLCC. It is an event held with the motto of "event by fans for fans", and is also currently the first and the biggest ACG convention in Malaysia, organised to bring the comic convention experience to the Malaysian audience.
MATRADE has also allocated a permanent exhibition space for 400 local companies at the exhibition hall on the second floor. The centre is also a component of Naza TTDI’s KL Metropolis development which is expected to be fully completed within 12 to 15 years time. In operation since 2 January 2007, MECC has hosted many trade related events.

The KLCC area has a 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m 2) convention centre known as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre parking rate). The total function area is around 216,000 square feet (20,100 m 2). The convention centre is directly connected with the Traders Hotel.
It is situated right next to MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) and Menara MITI. The centre has a gross floor area of 143,191 square meters (1.5 million square feet), sprawling over a 13.3-acre prime land and a total of 484,376 square meters of exhibit space with ceilings as high as 36 meters making indoor sporting events feasible.
