Image revealing the three sides of the system. The Coleco Telstar Arcade is formed like a triangle. [2] On every side are other game-specific controls. GATE is an action-adventure video game designed by Swiss programmers Henrik Gudat, Jörg Kienzle, and Yann Le Tensorer. The gameplay is comparable to Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda with a top-down view and a mixture of action, adventure, and puzzle solving. The game was released for the Apple IIGS and the Macintosh.
Double-sided ward locks nearly always have perfectly symmetrical bits. For single-sided locks, a cylindrical post is typically located in the center of the lock. Its purpose is to provide a point of leverage and pivot for rotating the key, and to help correctly align the key with the wards. The key has a corresponding hole which fits over the post.
Some lock manufacturers also have a "lockable" knob: a key is always needed on one side (usually external), and a twist knob can be used on the other (internal), unless a button has been pressed, in which case a key is also needed on the internal side. [3] A variant of the standard deadbolt is the vertical deadbolt, invented by Samuel Segal.
Higher security lever locks (such as the five-lever) usually have notches cut into the levers. These catch the locking bolt and prevent it from moving if picking is attempted (similar to the security pins in a pin tumbler lock). The Chubb detector lock is a variation of the lever lock which was designed to detect and prevent picking attempts.
An instruction manual, a booklet that instructs the player on how to play a game, is usually included as part of a video game package. Manuals can be large, such as the Civilization II manual which runs hundreds of pages, or small, such as the single sheet of double-sided A5 paper included with Half-Life 2.
