You must be willing to drive to the foster home in order to meet the dog. We do not ship or transport dogs anywhere but to a foster home. We will ask a volunteer or rescue group in your area to do a home check for us. We require that you send us photos of your home -- videos are even better!

Long Road Home Rescue, Inc is a 501(3)c nonprofit dedicated to the dogs who have been overlooked and lost hope of a home. The Vision: We pull dogs from southern shelters, owner surrenders and strays.
Please remember we are a foster based rescue group -- we do not have business hours or a location that you can visit.
We require a minimum of 10 days once we accept the dog into our rescue in order to find a foster home. We can also adopt the dog from your home. If the dog needs to be removed from your home immediately a donation to cover 10 days of boarding costs will be required.
