At the top, it should fall down, ring the bell, and will be at 1:00 at the bottom (notice the 1:00 is repeated top and bottom). What makes the mouse fall on that model is the question. In my clock the, mouse lifts a lever at the top of the case... after the 12 o'clock hour. Registered User. Jan 18, 2009. #1. I recently took in a Horolovar 'Dickory Dickory Clock' for repair. It had a couple of bent gears (taken care of) and a smashed platform escapement. I placed a French Platform on the movement (pictured) and it took right off.

At the risk of self agrandizement, I'm going to cut and paste something I posted earlier: William B. Fenn began stencil decorating glasses, columns, and splats in 1829 for Seth Thomas, later going into business for himself. Ultimately he became a major supplier of decorated glasses to a number of firms.

In The Train (1964), there were quite a few clocks in the beginning scenes, including a French bracket clock, a few Art Deco dial clocks, and a German bracket clock. There is a closeup of a railway manager's watch in another scene. Nearly 6 or 7 clocks altogether, and at least two that looked "antique".

Kleck said: Here is where the name Linden comes in. In the late 1950's when the Cuckoo Clock Manufacturing Co. started making noncuckoo clocks the name didn't fit so Linden was added - Linden Cuckoo Clock Manufacturing Co. Some time later the company was sold to the Colibri group and just the name Linden was used.
