The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides monthly benefits that help low-income households buy the food they need. SNAP is a federal program operating at a local level through the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
Apply for SNAP. The application steps below are meant to support you in the SNAP application process. You are not required to complete a SNAP Pre-Screen or gather documents before applying for SNAP benefits.

What We Do. The Division of Child Support Enforcement serves children and families that need help with financial, medical and emotional support. Every child needs financial and emotional support from both parents. Even when parents do not live together, it is important they work together to support their children.
