Punjabi University is a collegiate state public university located in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established on 30 April 1962 and is only the second university in the world to be named after a language, after Hebrew University of Israel .
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University was established as Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre in August 2007. The university was established by Government of Haryana vide an ordinance on 4 July 2014. The university was inaugurated on 25 July 2014 [2] and recognized by the University Grants Commission as a State University. [3]

Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, also known as Bhagat Phool Singh Women's University, is the first women's only state university of North India established by the Government of Haryana [1] in August 2006 at Village Khanpur Kalan, of Gohana in Sonipat district.
The university was allotted 61 acres (25 ha) of land near to the village Katrathal on state highway 8 to construct its campus. The university operated from a temporary campus in Sikar, behind the Government Girls College, while the campus was under construction. [4] In 2021 the university shifted to the permanent campus. The university is named after Captain Awadhesh Pratap Singh, a distinguished son of the soil and a freedom fighter. The university was established on 20 July 1968 and got UGC recognition in February 1972. It has membership of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU).
