East Palatka is a census-designated place (CDP) in Putnam County, Florida, United States. It is located on the east side of the City of Palatka at the intersection of U.S. Route 17/State Road 20/State Road 100 and the southwestern terminus of State Road 207. The population was 1,573 at the 2020 census, down from 1,654 at the 2010 census. [4]

Before 1945, Florida State Road 14 was posted between U. S. Route 19 in Wilcox and U. S. Route 1 in St. Augustine via State Road 26 (Wilcox to Gainesville), State Road 20 (Gainesville to East Palatka) and State Road 207 (East Palatka to St. Augustine).
State Road 207 (SR 207) is a four-lane state highway in northeast Florida, extending from US 17 in East Palatka, Florida at the southwest end to US 1 in St. Augustine, Florida at the northeastern end.
Florida State Truck Route 20 in Palatka, Florida was designated in order to divert trucks from the narrow and low bridge for the CSX Sanford Subdivision over SR 20. The truck route begins at the intersection with State Road 19 , and follows that route north in an overlap that terminates at State Road 100 .
Though incorrectly listed on Google Maps as being part of Old 441, the segment south of US 441-SRs 19/44 is strictly part of CR 19A. After the intersection with Bay Road, CR 19A makes a curve to the east and ends at a convoluted intersection with both CR Old 441 and CR 44C in Mount Dora.
