Bonnyrigg Rose Football Club is a Scottish football club from the town of Bonnyrigg. Formed in 1881 and nicknamed the Rose, the team plays in Scottish League Two, having been promoted after winning the Lowland Football League in 2021–22. Their home ground is New Dundas Park, and they have traditionally played in red and white hoops.
Bonnyrigg Rose Ladies Football Club is a Scottish women's football club based in the town of Bonnyrigg, Scotland. The club was formed in 2022 and currently competes in the Scottish Women's Football League One, [ 4 ] the fourth tier of women's football in Scotland .
The 2024–25 Scottish League Cup group stage was played from 13 July to 28 July 2024. [1] A total of 40 teams competed in the group stage. The winners of each of the eight groups as well as the three best runners-up progressed to the second round (last 16) of the 2024–25 Scottish League Cup.
Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic won their first league title on 1 March 2022 thanks to a 5–0 win over Cumbernauld Colts at New Dundas Park, with five matches still to play. They faced the winners of the 2021–22 Highland Football League ( Fraserburgh ) in the Pyramid play-off , winning 3–2 on aggregate.
