Osceola High School (OHS) is a public high school located in Kissimmee, Florida, USA. [6] The school was established on September 5, 1887 along with 20 other schools in Osceola County . It was referred to as "the Kissimmee school" until it was renamed "Osceola High School" in 1889.
In 2006, the Florida Department of Education named Venice High School an "A" school. In 2007, the school missed the 525 points needed for an "A" grade by 4 points, receiving a score of 521 to earn a "B" grade. In 1969, Lyman High School moved to a newly constructed state-of-the-art campus approximately 1/4 mile to the north, while the former Lyman campus became R. T. Milwee Junior High School, named after Rayburn T. Milwee, Sr., a former Lyman teacher (1939-1949), Lyman principal (1949-1952) and Superintendent of Seminole County Schools (1952-1967).
