Austin Independent School District (AISD) is a school district based in the city of Austin, Texas, United States. The school is a member of the Houston Independent School District and is a school-of-choice for residents in the city of Houston. Eastwood Academy has been an "exemplary" high school by the Texas Education Agency since 2008. [3] It was nominated as a Blue Ribbon School in 2010 and received the award officially in 2011.
