Replied on March 13, 2016. Report abuse. It would be much easier to change the snaggit hotkey than the printscreen key. In snaggit preferences>hot keys>choose a different hot key. You would have to find what is using printscreen on win 10 and edit the registry to have that app use a different key combo. Cat herder.
For some reason, the Print Screen key doesn't work. I've tried various fixes that I Googled, but to no avail. The keyboard driver is up-to-date, troubleshooting the keyboard doesn't turn up any problems, etc. This is likely a setting in the computer's BIOS. In other words, BIOS settings control if you must hold the Fn key or not.
