The All American Quarter Horse Congress (AAQHC) is known as the largest single breed horse show in the world. [1] The annual event is held at the 360 acre Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio, and is hosted by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association (OQHA). [2] The AAQHC has multiple events in a variety of disciplines.
Nominations from the membership are due by November 1. They are then screened and sent to the Hall of Fame committee which meets in the following March. Nominations stay active for three years, then must sit out for three years before being considered again. People being considered may be alive or deceased, but horses must be deceased. [4]
