I find it to work super well with Marshall-, Vox- or Hiwatt related amps, and obviously the DG-30 (although I don't use V30s with mine). US voiced amps, and serious high gainers - not so much, but of course still decent.
As much as I hate Sweet Home Alabama, its always happy. Blood and Roses or Girl Like you by Smithereens does well. 20th Century boy by T-rex is fun Last band we had a girl who sang some, so we did Kerosene (miranda Lambert) some Gretchen Wilson, etc and it all did well everywhere.

Mine has always had wonky tuning. 90% fixed now. So at this point I would say the bridge didn’t return to the same spot 100%. The tonal change is just a little more clarity and note to note definition. Sort of like changing a Zinc stop tailpiece to an aluminum one. Certainly noticeable but maybe not in a full band contex.
I posted an extensive vt20x review on here before. Basically, when I first got it, I thought the same thing, YUCK! I was going to quickly unload it. But then I tried the Tone Room software and it changed my opinion 100%. I kept it and I love mine now.

I love mine. Don't think I would pay $3,500 though unless it was 100% original and mint. Mine is missing original pickups and switch, and had a little extra routing done under pickguard for a set of emgs added in 80s. Clearly these subtract from it collector value. I traded about 2500 worth of stuff for it earlier this year.
I absolutely love mine. Mine's the deluxe. The right of it is that is featherweight, has a low action so that a light touch is possible, sounds OK and will stay in tune thru all sorts of temperatures and humidity.I think I paid 1200 for mine from somebody who hangs out at the Parker forum.
But has anyone already taken the whole list and said, 'Sweet Emoji' is 'Sweet Emotion', etc etc. getting the first round of patches together for my cover band, would be great to have a reference already in place. I had a POD XTL Live for years, and took the closest preset I could find, modified it to the song, and renamed/resaved.
