Promises was a Canadian-based pop group which was founded 1978 in Thousand Oaks, California.The members were siblings Leslie Maria Knauer (born August 20, 1957, Vancouver, vocals, bongos), Jed Knauer (born July 17, 1955, Toronto, guitar, piano) and Benny Knauer (born October 21, 1958, Vancouver, keyboards and vocals).
The mix was recorded at the height of the dubstep popularity and features a wide variety of genres such as; Drum and Bass, French House, Dubstep and Electronica. The 2010 Nero Essential Mix also later became a talking point on 4 September 2015 as there was a wide debate upon Reddit users on 'the best Essential Mix of all time'. [9]

Jesse Cooper, known under the pseudonym Mt Eden (and formerly Mt Eden Dubstep), is a New Zealand electronic music artist based in Auckland. [1] Popular tracks include "Sierra Leone" – a remix of Freshlyground 's "I'd Like" – and remixes of Delerium 's "Silence" as well as Lisa Miskovsky 's "Still Alive".
The album's release was supported by the North American "X Tour" with Liquid Stranger and Lucky Date, in early 2012, and around that time, the debut remix version of the album, "X Rated" titled, "X Rated: The Remixes" was released on September in 2012. The duo signed a publishing deal with the newly formed Fire Songs in November 2007, a division of eclectic London-based record label Fire Records. In early 2009 they released a new LP, an experimental collaboration with poet Gerry Mitchell called The Invisible Lodger and signed the first act to release on the Various Production label, Gold Panda .
