I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 15 5558 with a Synaptic touchpad. I just upgraded to Windows 10 a week ago and my touchpad has no gesture features at all now, including no scrolling function. All I can do on the trackpad is move the mouse and left or right click. No scrolling, no two or three-finger gestures, and no options to update.
I experienced this as well - balloons in Teams meetings after upgrading MacOS to Sonoma. There is one setting in the Teams app for "animations" but it actually appears to be a FaceTime setting > Reactions (Teams uses the built in FaceTime camera which activate with certain hand gestures). Turn that off.
As almost every PC's comes with an integrated webcam now a days then, can a webcam be made to detect that hand gestures (instead of special sensors) so every one can use this feature (if made available) on their current PC's (with webcam, instead of buying new one with sensors).
