Well I used the AMD cleanup utility to uninstall and remove any previously installed AMD driver files, registries, and driver store, which used Safe Mode and rebooted afterwards. Then I did a full install of AMD Adrenalin 23.4.1 software and drivers and rebooted to finish.
I have a new build with 7900 XTX and 7950X3D. Firstly I installed new driver (version 23.9.3) and everything worked properly. After a week adrenalin software stopped opening and cannot be opened anyhow and I don't even get any info or message about failing to open. Just nothing happens and the Adrenalin icon dissappears from system tray.
For info, Radeon Software 20.10.1 doesn't fix this Windows Update bug. I already tried a bunch of solutions from youtube like deleting CN folder, Deleting some files in CN folder, adding a new file in CN folder, etc. I'm using a laptop with ryzen 9 5900hs...
Hi, Despite "System Tray Menu" being marked in settings as "Enabled" the software does not start with Windows and icon is not present on taskbar. Why? Anybody having the same issue? System is Windows 7 64-bit and the newest version of Radeon Software (21.4.1).
I'm not sure what Cleanup Utility you used, but I used DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) by "Guru3d". This program uninstalls everything Radeon related. All software, all drivers, everything made by Radeon AMD. If you have used it and it didn't work for you, I am sorry. But this is day 2 for me and it is still working.
AMD software is not opening. I do see it show up in the tray but as soon as I mouse over the icon it disappears. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but run into the same problem.
