Michael Power - St. Joseph also has a student leadership system. The overall focus of the leadership program is to create students which model the Catholic Graduate Expectations. In 2007, Power P.L.A.Y. Leaders presented at the largest leadership conference in Ontario. To this day they remain the only High School ever asked to do so.
St. Anne's Catholic Secondary School (or St. Anne's CSS for short) is a Catholic high school in Clinton, Ontario. It is noted for its sports teams and exceptional grades that are usually at or above the provincial expectations. [1] It serves students from grades nine to twelve.
The school was built with the expectation that it would house 945 students. Its peak enrollment hit approximately 1,800 students in the late 1990s, and has since stabilized to around 1100 students. STA was built with a "cafetorium", a space which could be used as either a cafeteria or auditorium with portable seating stored under the stage.
In May 2024, it was announced that a 3.7 million dollar expansion to the school was planned [2] to add 8 more classrooms which would provide room for 184 more students. St. Joseph's has had continual growth in its student body population since the new facility opened in 2006. As of 2024, the current enrolment is close to 1400 pupils.
The modern building for 861 students was built and completed by September 1991 as the school was opened and blessed in January 1992, designed specifically for its self-directed learning program (formerly called Direction 2000 [5] established in the late 1980s).
