Dibrugarh University entrance. Dibrugarh University is a collegiate public state university in the Indian state of Assam. It is the second oldest University in Assam and in North East India. It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. It is located at Dibrugarh, Assam, India.

Formerly the examination was conducted by Dibrugarh University and since 2018 it is conducted by Assam Science & Technology University. [1] It was previously known as the Assam Joint Admission Test (Assam-JAT) until the year 2012 and comprised both engineering and medical entrance examinations.
The Institute of Tai Studies and Research (ITSAR) is a Tai-Ahom language teaching institute in Moran, Charaideo, Assam, India.It is an affiliate autonomous institute under Dibrugarh University and offers a one-year Tai-Ahom language diploma course and a three-month certificate course in spoken Tai-Ahom language affiliated to Dibrugarh University.
[1] Dibru College was established in 1963 situated at Boiragimoth, the heart of Dibrugarh city. Today the college provides major courses altogether in twelve out of twenty one subjects. The Government of India has identified the college as a Biotechnology hub too. The college has received a grant from the Department of Science and Technology.
