The Rear Lighthouse of Hilton Head Range Light Station, which is also called Leamington Lighthouse is an inactive light station on Hilton Head Island in Beaufort County, South Carolina. [2] [3] In 1983, it was named to the National Register of Historic Places. [1]
Building of Harbour Town Lighthouse was started in 1969 by Charles Fraser and completed in 1970. [4] It is an octagonal column with a red observation deck or gallery below the lantern. The column is stucco on metal lath over plywood with a height of 93 feet (28 m).

Hilton Head Island, often referred to as simply Hilton Head, is a Lowcountry resort town and barrier island in Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States. [8] It is 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Savannah, Georgia (as the crow flies), and 95 miles (153 km) southwest of Charleston .
In recent years, Hilton Head has also developed a large permanent resident population. Hilton Head Island, which has an area of approximately 55 square miles (140 km 2 ), had a year-round population of 37,661 at the 2020 census , [ 3 ] although during the peak of summer vacation season the population can swell to 150,000.
