The Delaware Mock Trial Competition is a high school Mock Trial competition in Delaware sponsored by the Delaware Law Related Education Center (or DelREC). [1] The winning school of the state finals advances to the National High School Mock Trial Championship .

Wilmington was approved by the state of Massachusetts to build a new High school. On January 9, 2013, it was announced the schools gymnasium would be torn down. Many saw this to be a big step forward in the construction of a much-needed 21st-century education for the students of Wilmington.
