Brakes are Brembo monoblock six-piston ventilated brake callipers with 390 mm (15.35 in) rotors at the front, and four-piston callipers with 381 mm (15.0 in) rotors in the rear. They are full floating, cross drilled two piece rotors, fitted with low steel and high stiffness brake pads.
Brembo brakes were removed for the 2005 and 2006 models, and the brakes were redesigned with larger discs and a different caliper design. This was partly in response to a number of complaints about the previous years' brakes, which included a class action lawsuit filed in California related to premature wear on 2003–2004 models.
The SP3 uses Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires on custom Ferrari wheels with 265/30 ZR 20 J9.0 in the front and 345/30 ZR 21 J12.5 in the rear. The brakes are from Brembo measuring Front: 398 x 223 x 36 mm and Rear: 380 x 253 x 34 mm.
