Night Sky (app) is an application developed and published by indie studio iCandi Apps Ltd. from the UK. Night Sky is a stargazing reference app, where the user can explore a virtual repreentation of the night sky to identify stars, planets, constellations and satellites. [1] The app is developed specifically for iOS, tvOS and watchOS devices.
The app can show the map of the night sky in the past and future. In the iOS version, the app uses the camera for the augmented reality feature, combining the image data from the camera with the star map to give the user a real-time view of celestial objects.
