Henriette Marie, Princess Palatine (17 July 1626 – 18 September 1651) was a daughter of Frederick V of the Palatinate, the "Winter King" of Bohemia, and Scottish princess Elizabeth Stuart. Before her death, she married Sigismund Rákóczi, a member of the House of Rákóczi of the Kingdom of Hungary .

Two months after she was born, her eldest full sibling, Archduchess Theresa Maria Josepha (1652–1653) died at the age of one and a half years. Her only younger sibling, Archduke Ferdinand Joseph Alois (1657–1658) was born in 1657 and died in infancy.
Christiane Henriette was considered highly educated in arts and sciences. She was a close friend of the anthropologist Johann Friedrich Blumenbach [ 2 ] Christiane collected a comprehensive library, [ 3 ] which by 1788 included about 6,000 volumes [ 4 ] and in her Arolsen Castle , she maintained an art and natural history collection.
The family later reconciled after the death of the Prince de Conti. Marie Thérèse was known for her quiet personality and her piety, much praised by many at court [citation needed]. Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate, Dowager Duchess of Orléans and mother of the Regent Philippe d'Orléans, wrote of the widowed Marie Thérèse:
