Parker Road station (formerly East Plano Transit Center) is an intermodal transit facility in Plano, Texas. The station is located near North Central Expressway (US 75) between Parker Road and Park Boulevard.
The station was opened on January 30, 1989 as West Plano Transit Center, though the facility's indoor waiting area was not completed until later that year. [2] The indoor waiting facility at the station was the third to be built by DART after South Irving Transit Center and North Carrolton Transit Center .
The DART light rail system serves the metropolitan area of Dallas, Texas.It is owned and operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). The system opened June 14, 1996 and serves 65 stations and four lines, covering 93 miles (149.7 km): the Blue Line, the Red Line, the Green Line, and the Orange Line.
