Nextdoor app. I don’t use it, I’m on Facebook, but I hear people talking about Nextdoor. Miami isn’t that neighborly tbh and I’ve been here since 1979 when weekend garage sales were all the rage. 2. Award. Share. kittywithacrown. • 1 yr. ago. I use offerup.
Freaking hate it. Offer up’s user interface looks like crap, we get crappy search results. There are way more scammers on offer up. Offer up looks extremely dated. Offer up’s sellers are sketch af. Majority of offer up sellers aren’t verified anywhere. On let go almost everyone was verified on AT LEAST Facebook.
I have better luck on Craigslist than I do with FB Market and I gave up on Offerup. you can go to the swap show and sell your stuff. The two you mention are common. The only others that i can recommend are Craigslist and a yard sale.

I been using Ebay for a long time, and recently found out Offerup and Mercari marketplaces, but the problem is that these 2 platforms are intended to be used only by USA-citizens. Watch their eyes glaze over, dreaming of living that Miami Vice lifestyle, wanting that slice of paradise I'm selling along with those 24 feet of fiberglass! Yeah! And when the papers are signed and the loot changes hands, there's only one thing left - snap into a Slim Jim, brother!
I posted an iPhone for $240 on OfferUp and have received numerous messages stating that they will make an offer and are asking me to ship it, all are from Miami. All have accounts that were created this month (March 2019), all besides one have a confirmed email. One guy gave me his email and said he would pay $250 if I sent him a request on PayPal.
That’s about the price you’ll get and that’s the price I sell. There’s always low ballers, sometimes it’s worth just getting the cash or selling on eBay (wilder audience). If you’re selling on eBay, ship priority only and state you’re shipping priority mail. It cover up to $100. 1.
