Since this year is going to be a bit of an uptick, I thought I would at least give the details of my journey from graduation to application as well as time stamps (certifying my transcripts, board of pharmacy giving me permission to test, study material, pre-NAPLEX vs NAPLEX, NAPLEX question topics and the testing center, so on & so forth).
NAPLEX review is not meant to be a substitute for Koda-Kimble or Remingtons, it is a tool to review all of the major concepts of the test and for that, RxPrep is best. My credentials? Passed NAPLEX with flying colors with 1 month of study time. But I also had solid rotations and extensive experience (eg no memorizing brand/generic names).

Minimalist Pharmacist Blog RxPrep Facebook Group The Rxprep facebook group is filled with study guides, questions posted by people studying, and is a bit of a support group for those who have passed and failed the NAPLEX. It's definitely a great community to be a part of.

Hi! I was wondering if there was a particular naplex study guide that was better than the other. I am a P1 student but i want to get a head start on reading up so that way i can set up myself in retaining the info from classes to long term memory. Thanks!!
I used the 2016 RX-PREP book only and the RX-PREP question bank to pass the new and longer Naplex on my first attempt. I studied for about a month and just focused on the hi-lighted and underlined material in the Rx-Prep book. I took the Pre-Naplex once and scored 86 then scored 90 on the actual Naplex (results came in today!).
Update: I passed the NAPLEX and I thought the SDN 120 calculations were a great help on the NAPLEX. If you can do these problems, you will do well on the NAPLEX calculation. They count calculation problems more on the NAPLEX so make sure you know how to do them. I also found these sources to be a great help:
For compounding, passnaplexnow lectures, Qbank and powerpoint slides were very sufficient. Just make sure you understand every statement. I mean understand not memorized. NAPLEX wants us to know the reasons behind everything we use. Couple of days before the exam, I took pre-naplex and scored 80 and in the real naplex 90.
