The taskbar can display the temperature in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). To switch between these two units, select the weather icon on the taskbar, select the Edit location and unit icon on the weather card, select Celsius or Fahrenheit on the weather, and select Save.

Trying to change the setting in Weather widget from F to C. I want the temperature to be shown in Celsius. I went to the widget settings, changed it from F to C. Still the same. Setting is not saved each time. Tried more than 10 times in 2 days... restarting my computer many times.
To reiterate, I have configured the Weather app for Metric units. The Weather app itself displays Celsius, the taskbar icon displays Celsius, even the News page displays Celsius, but the Live Tile insists on displaying Fahrenheit. The bug seems to only affect the Live Tile on the Start page and only since last Tuesday's updates. Thank you.
It'll open up the "Widgets" panel. Somewhere on that panel, there will be a "widget" for weather. In the top-right corner of the Weather widget, there will be a three-dot menu icon. Click on that. The three-dot menu icon will open a dropdown with settings for the weather widget, including Celsius vs Fahrenheit. Pick Celsius. Lock your screen.
Cannot change taskbar weather from fahrenheit to celsius after the windows update. Tried setting it on the weather app or when i hovered over the weather on the taskbar. I have my lock screen set to "show details" of my weather app on the lock screen. It shows the temperature in Celsius even though my weather app is set to Fahrenheit and it shows the temps in Fahrenheit there. I read some other posts that said check my global settings on msn.com, check my Cortana settings, check my profile settings, etc.
