The song was released on 9/11 of 2012, its music video on 9/11 of 2015, and was brought back to streaming sites 9/11 of 2021 after being taken down in August of that year. The September 11 Digital Archive is a digital archive that stores information relating to the September 11 attacks on the United States in 2001. It contains over 150,000 digital files including images, videos, audio, and over 40,000 first-hand accounts of the attacks. It is part of the collection of the Library of Congress.
The documentary is accompanied by an 18-minute documentary short called I-Witness to 9/11, which features interviews with nine firsthand eyewitnesses who captured the footage on camera. According to this film, most of the archival footage was in possession of the U.S. government but was not released to History until years after 9/11.
