Granted, these shows are not that old (Sanjay and Craig is 12 years old Harvey Beaks is 9), but the main audience for these shows (born from about 2003ish to 2010ish) are already 14-21 and have shown nostalgia for all sorts of other 2010s shows around the time.
3) TOO. MUCH. SPAMMING. ALL. AROUND (you know what I'm talking about - whether you like these shows or not.) 4) Insipid Live-action ALL AROUND. 5) Not greenlighting anything else that could have been truly good (there's a whole plethora of YouTube joints from Nick that could and should be shows by now, honestly.).
Nickelodeon does not have a lot of successful shows from this decade because of how they were treated. And that isn't to say that the other networks have perfect records. Cartoon Network and Disney Channel have their fair share of issues and poor treatment of their original series, but they typically have been successful enough.
Admittedly most Nickelodeon cartoons from the 2010's are pretty forgettable (which is especially bad compared to Cartoon Network's output in the 2010's arguably the best of the network's programming in existence... at least when it came to original carotons anyway) but some more so then others and when talking about the least memorable you kind ...
I was inspired by the Forgotten Nicktoons thread, and thougt I'd like to discuss which live-action shows that not many people remember. The most popular live-action would probably be the 90s and 00s shows Schneider produced created (Drake and Josh, iCarly), but what are some shows that are...
Nickelodeon seems to champion comedy animation over dramady as they seem to be the network that's not getting onboard the 2010s-2020s dramedy bandwagon (I'm not counting their action cartoons like Korra or TMNT as dramedy cartoons as action and dramedy are very different genres).
For a time, both shows were equally liked online. In recent years, however, there has been a noticeable shift towards a more positive perception of SpongeBob. While some criticisms persist regarding Kamp Koral and Nickelodeon's reliance on it, the show has largely become a beloved staple. Even the Tibbitt era is experiencing a reappraisal.
Aug 2, 2022. #1. Honestly, I can't believe Nickelodeon is still in business with all the stupid decisions they've made. They passed on Adventure Time, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Phineas and Ferb, which became HUGE hits for their competitors, and instead picked up Fanboy and Chum-Chum, Breadwinners, and Planet Sheen. They gave Fred his own show, which ...
I grew up with Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Cartoon Network in 1990s and they were full of variety, so some shows air 2 episodes per day and marathon was reserved for special occasion. The marathon started to increase some in 2000s and become more common after 2010s.
The standard has left many Nicktoons (especially in the 2010s) to only have reruns on Nickelodeon, before moving the entire series to Nicktoons. Every 2010 Nicktoons except: Monsters vs. Aliens and Sanjay and Craig hasn't aired their entire run on Nickelodeon, even some 2000's Nicktoons had the same misfortune.
