The Tequileros de Jalisco (English: Jalisco Tequila Makers) are an American football team based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.The Tequileros will compete in the inaugural season of the International Football Alliance (IFA) in 2024 after playing two seasons in Fútbol Americano de México (FAM), which shut down operations in 2022.
The team was established on 20 December 2021 as one of the two expansion teams for the 2022 LFA season, the other team being the Galgos de Tijuana. On that same date, Enrique Alfaro, who led the Mayas to the 2016 and 2017 championships, was appointed as head coach. [2] The team colors are blue and gold.

Mexican American Football (FAM) was founded on August 7, 2018, as Liga de Football Pro (LFP).The league was founded by the same initial investors of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA), which had been operating since 2016, with the intention of competing directly with them, offering a different business model.
