This is a list of albums attributed to the anime adaptation The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya based on the Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series. There have been three soundtrack singles released for the anime containing the opening, ending, and insert songs featured in the anime series.
Aya Hirano (pictured in 2019), the voice actress of Haruhi Suzumiya, was one of the performers of the song. "Hare Hare Yukai" is the ending theme song from the 2006 anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (the animated adaptation of the first book and several short stories in the Haruhi Suzumiya series by Nagaru Tanigawa).

The album contained background music tracks featured in the anime, by Haruhi Suzumiya composer Satoru Kōsaki, along with original audio dramas featuring Hiromi Konno as Akira Kogami, and Minoru Shiraishi, as himself. Another similar album with more background music tracks and audio dramas was released with the second anime DVD on July 27.
Satoru Kōsaki (神前 暁, Kōsaki Satoru, born September 16, 1974) is a Japanese music composer and arranger. He is best known for his work on anime, including Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Monogatari, Beastars and The Apothecary Diaries. He worked at Namco, where he primarily composed soundtracks for video games.
Minori Chihara version "Yasashii Bōkyaku" (優しい忘却, lit."Tender Oblivion") is the eighth CD single containing 4 versions of the titular song by Minori Chihara.The single was used as the ending theme to The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, [1] in which Chihara again reprises her role as Yuki Nagato.
The single was used as the opening theme song to the anime Ga-rei -Zero-in which she voices the main character Kagura Tsuchimiya. Subsequently, in the 6th episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan , the character Yuki Nagato (reprised by Minori Chihara herself) sang a muted version of Paradise Lost at the end of the episode.
