The library was established in 1913 as a library association with the generous support of the Pine Bluff Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. [2] In 2016 a flood affected the old library building. Another flood occurred in 2017 due to a faulty pump. [3] The new library opened in 2020 at a cost of $10,500,000. [6]
Pine Bluff Daily Graphic, previously known as the Pine Bluff Weekly Graphic and the Pine Bluff Semi-Weekly Graphic, was an American daily newspaper published in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, between 1893 and 1942. [1] The Sunday edition was known as the Pine Bluff Sunday Morning Graphic. [2] It was founded by James W. Adams. [1]
It is a two-story Art Deco building, faced in cream colored brick. It was built in 1938–39 with funding support from the Public Works Administration, and was the first library building on the campus. It underwent a major restoration in 2000–2003, and now serves as the university museum. [2]

The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas is a 22,000-square-foot (2,000 m 2) art and science museum located at 701 Main Street in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.It includes four galleries, a 232-seat theatre, classroom space, administrative offices, vault and adequate preparatory and conservation space for the Center's current programming efforts.
Dollarway High School was a comprehensive public high school in northwest [7] Pine Bluff, Arkansas that served grades 9 through 12. It was one of three public high schools in Pine Bluff and was a part of the Pine Bluff School District effective July 1, 2021.
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff was authorized in 1873 by the Reconstruction-era legislature as the Branch Normal College and opened in 1875 with Joseph Carter Corbin principal. A historically black college , it was nominally part of the "normal" (education) department of Arkansas Industrial University, later the University of Arkansas .
