Akira "Nishiki" Nishkiyama (錦山 彰, Nishikiyama Akira) was born on October 8, 1968, known as simply "Akira Nishiki" in English versions of the first two games and by his original name in Yakuza 4. He is the former best friend and sworn brother of Kiryu, and one of the main antagonists of Yakuza.
