The salesman who I dealt with drives a mini with OS9 and has answered several questions about the Countryman by checking on his car. So far everything fits but I guess that there must be some adjustments between the application to the Mini and Countryman, you would hope that Mini/BMW could resolve this quickly with a software update.

So that is three different ways to cool a MIni Cooper coolant system. 1.thermostat heating element 2.cooling fan 3. standard coil built into the thermostat itself 1 and 2 work together to maintain a closely monitored temperture.
I very recently I purchased the above vehicle which test drove before purchase as was very happy. I bought it from. Mini/BMW dealer and asked if they would fit the Mini Ace front and rear dash camera. After picking it up all was well except the DAB/FM was continually losing the station.I tuned and saved the station before.
However that was in the 1960's and you would have hoped Mini had sorted the Countryman before releasing it. Mine is due mid September so hoping gremlins are fixed before then. I am sure your dealer will sort your problems out, but it's so damned frustrating in the meantime!!

My Wife's 2009 Cooper (petrol) had the engine light come on. So I scanned it and got the code P0015 which apparently is "B" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded. Having searched the forums and googled it, this could be as simple as the camshaft position sensor.
2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S Having brake issues, along with the sporadic reverse brake issues. Yesterday I was backing out of a parking space and pressed the brake pedal, made me nervous bc as I pressed on it, stop delay of a few seconds so I press the pedal and it doesn’t brake right away. Scary! I took it to a nearby garage.
