Farwell is a village in Clare County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 880 at the 2020 census . The village is located within Surrey Township about 4.0 miles (6.4 km) west of the city of Clare .
In the township the population was spread out, with 22.5% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 25.5% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 19.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 93.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.4 males.
US 10 enters through the township from the west and briefly runs concurrently with US 127.; US 127 runs south–north through the center of the township.; Bus. US 10 is a business loop route that runs briefly north out of the city of Clare.

Farwell Independent School District is a public school district based in Farwell, Texas . Located in Parmer County, [1] a small portion of the district extends into Bailey County. [2] In tribute to the school district's (and city's) namesake, the owners of the XIT Ranch, the school mascot is the steer.
