Rimfire: Pistols, DA Revolvers, SA Revolvers. Of course there are so many exceptions ... for example, My S&W 52-2 (38 Special, semi-auto) is the most ...
It seemed perfect in theory. I like revolvers and I LOVE .22s, so just imagine how wonderful a .22 revolver would have to be, right? In addition to the leading issue, I then learn about how .22 revolvers have really heavy triggers. Way heavier than CF revolvers, so the idea of it being useful to master a DA trigger doesn't seem very likely anymore.
Buying new, Ruger's Quality is no better than Taurus, maybe worse. I do think the SR1911 line is better than Taurus 1911s. I have had good luck with Taurus revolvers. Not so great with their pistols. Ruger's Quality Control has become a joke. It seems to me that great service, replacing manufacturing quality, is a poor business model.

It's just KISS at it's finest , an industrial strength revolver, load it, pull the trigger, that's it. No thumb cocking, no single action, no worrying about push off, SA notches wearing out, sleek , clean appearance, I just love them.
Way too hard, so that one was easy. The LCR .357 $479.00 they wouldn't come down, that took care of that one! So the S&W 637 for $409.00 or the LCRX for $417.99. The single action on both about a toss up the LCRX was very nice & the 637 about the same the double action on the 637 heavy but nice and even.
I feel that you will see the end of the 2-2 1/2 inch 38 spls. The 327 mag will takeover as the 38 spls of the future. Me I use a 2 1/4 inch SP101 for my 38 spl loads and if I want the 5th round is 357 mag. I would rather have an all steel (stainless) revolver but I am afraid it will go the way of the dodo bird.

The SP101 is more fun to shoot with hot loads. These days my snubby is a 2.5” GP100 357. Yes, it’s heavier than either an SP101 or a J-frame and dimensionally it’s slightly bigger. However, it has 6 rounds, is a 357 and much more pleasant to shoot with hot loads. YMMV.
