Yale SOM only started its MBA program in 1999, so the first MBA class would be 2001, and I imagine the first handful of class years had very small class sizes. They've actually done quite well considering their MBA program is really only 20 years old, while traditional M7 programs have histories dating back a century or more.
Yale, taken in February: Was very nervous before it because I had made a horrific typo in my email to him! (Accidentally wrote ‘Harvard’ instead of ‘Yale’ in a sentence… to say I was mortified was an understatement. Yale vs Wharton Undergrad. Would take Yale. Better parent university, more friendly atmosphere, easy grading, and similar opps for banking / MBB. Both are good schools, but here is my hot take: decline both, go work as a janitor for MIT while studying economics in your free time, challenge a famous tenured professor in the middle of his lecture ...
If the advantage of a yale legacy at Yale is 100 points, the advantage of a Harvard legacy who happens to apply to Yale certainly isn’t zero. Elite families breed elite kids. This isn’t captured by the crude comparisons of SATs and GPA. But it’s there in the essays, the interviews, types of courses, the kinds of EC’s, the travel, the ...
He then went on to describe what Yale would offer him that he couldn’t find at another college – specifically Harvard. I’d rather not reveal the rest of his essay, as I don’t want to encourage student’s to copy his answer, but to come up reason’s of their own. Falcon1 October 13, 2015, 1:26am 15.
<p>The Yale Political Union Conservative Party (prominent member: William Buckley, Jr.), sponsors a weekly lecture series hosting many conservative speakers (as well as speakers who self-identify as liberals), there is a Tory Party, Party of the Right, and a newly forming Federalist Party within the Yale Political Union.
