Zhang Ruoxu (Chinese: 張若虛; Wade–Giles: Chang Jo-hsü; ca. 660 – ca. 720) was a Chinese poet of the early Tang dynasty from Yangzhou in modern Jiangsu province. He is best known for "Spring River in the Flower Moon Night" (Chun Jiang Hua Yue Ye, 春江花月夜), one of the most unique and influential Tang poems, which has inspired numerous later artworks.
The four characters on the banner above his head reads, "return my rivers and mountains", one of the themes espoused in his poem. Man Jiang Hong (Chinese: 滿江紅; pinyin: Mǎn Jīang Hóng; lit. 'the whole river red') is the title of a set of Chinese lyrical poems sharing the same pattern.

Peng Xiuwen arranged numerous traditional music pieces for the Chinese orchestra. In 1983, Liang Hong Zhi (梁弘誌) set Su's poem to new music as the song "Danyuan ren changjiu" (但願人長久; translated "Wishing We Last Forever" or "Always Faithful" [1]). This new setting was recorded by Teresa Teng in her album dandan youqing (淡淡幽情), which also contained songs based on other poems from the Tang and Song dynasties.
